Our ideas behind these condos were to create a set of modern duplexes that used their condition of adjacency to make interesting architectural forms but at the same time to maintain the privacy each homeowner would want. The lot drops off to the rear opening up to the Greenbelt so views were important. We positioned windows to maximize view and light as you move through the space while maintaining our privacy goal. The modern design style also allowed us to turn walls, ceilings, fireplaces and stairs into decorative forms for the living space.
